Change cursor position of active control

Hi.

Is it possible to change the position of the cursor inside an active
control?

In my example ...

Me!txtControl.T ext = Me!txtControl.T ext

.... puts the cursor to the left side of the entered data. However I
would like to have it back on the right side. How can I do this?

TIA

Hello C# gurus, I have a question about finding cursor position in NumericUpDown control. On my form I have a numericUpDown control with 2 decimal places. I want to increment value in the numeric box by 1 if my cursor is in front of the decimal point. If the cursor is after the decimal point, I want to increment the value by 0.1. How do I accomplish this? Is there a way to find out the cusror position in the control relative to decimal...

It appears to me that if I change the Control's client size the controls size does not change to agree with the new size. Does it work like the VB6 ScaleWidth and ScaleHeight? That is after I change the Clientsize does the display stay the same but the number of units required to reference a given point changes? Anyway, it appears to me that If I want to change to size of the control so that the client size is some value, I need to...

Hi I am trying to find a way to make the mouse cursor move to the keyboard cursor position in an application. For example, I use an application called Enterprise Guide, and I control this application using Dragon naturally speaking as I have a disability that makes using the keyboard quite difficult. I often have to say the name of an object to make to be the active or highlighted object. However to do something such as drag and drop...

We have some dumb and lazy people here, so I need help. To fix the dumb part: We have placed MaskedTextBoxes on the forms so they will stop entering the information incorrectly. Now the lazy part: When our people click on a blank MaskedTextBox field, the cursor does not automatically go to the first "non-filled" mask value. For Example: Take the MaskedTextBox "___-___-___". When our people click the Text area, their cursor may stop...

Hi, I would like to be able to compare a control's new value with its old value, whenever it is changed by a user. The control holds a numeric value, qty_Sold, when this value changes I need to check its validity and apply appropriate actions. I have tried to do this using the control's 'On Change' event, and the properties '.Value' and '.Text' to return the control's old and new values. Unfortunately this event triggers on each...

I have the opportunity to rescue a project that uses a mouse to sense the relative position of a machine. The hardware is built...just needs to be programmed. Stop snickering!!! I didn't do it...I just gotta fix it. I need to make some calculations on the measurements and VB6 is my language. Yes, the system mouse will corrupt the measurement, but it's an auditing function and that's acceptable.

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
