Admins Member receives error 3033

In my secure database, I have the admins group and a DeptUser group. I am
trying to set up a new user in the admins group and the DeptUser group.
However, this new administrator receives the error 3033: You do not have
the necessary permissions to use the 'qryViewLD' object.

I am a member of admins and I do not get this message. I'm stumped. The
admins group has all permissions on the query.

The DeptUser group can read the design and data of this query. If I remove
the new user from the admins group, leaving membership in DeptUser group,
then she can open the query, but of course can't modify it.

Any ideas?

Just a quick guess, but is the other user using the same workgroup file as
you? Were the permissions for each group created under the same workgroup
file?

Huh? If the new user is a member of Admins and DeptUser, she gets
error 3033, but if you remove her from Admins, leaving her in
DeptUser, she can then run the query?

Sorry, I find that hard to credit. Please confirm that this is what
happens, or, explain what actually happens!

I create a new user and make them a member of Admins. I then log on as that user and try to modify an existing query. I'm told that I don't have the necessary permissions. The Admins group has full permissions on the query. The new user can create new queries and modify them, but the database owner cannot modify these queries, even though the database owner explicitly had Administer permission on them. A possible related issue is that...

Hello, I'm using C++ with OpenGL and GLUT. But I'm having problems with callbacks. There is a function called "glutDisplayFunc" which receives function pointers as input, specifically "void (*func)(void)". I'm calling the function inside the constructor of a class called GLTestOne, and the input I am giving is to the function "void

Subject: pointer to any member function of any class. The "C++ FAQ Lite" explains how to hand a pointer to a member function to a signal handler etc, but only to a static function (33.2), to a fixed class (33.2), any member of a fixed class (33.6), to a fixed function of any object (functiods, 33.10). What I wanted was to be able to hand any member function of any created object to a signal hander etc.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
