Dear Team,
There is a problem related to change ip address there in my network a domain admin user is exist and user knows its password and by this they are able to login with this account and change ip address for working with broadband and user access personal web id etc. so i want to prevent this through applying a policy on ip changing.and i want this should be done by window default utility not any third party software .and admin password changing is not possible here.
So plz look into this issue and give proper solution. i am waiting of your kind reply. thanks.

re: Give solution for restriction on ip changing

I don't think there's anything you could do that this user couldn't undo with the admin password at hand. The only real way would be to change the password, so if that's impossible, I can't see any options.

The best try would be to use the Policy Editor, so run gpedit.msc on that system (assuming it is a system which contains this editor) and there have a look around. I'm guessing,
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. -> User Configuration
  2.   -> Administrative Templates
  3.     -> Network
  4.       -> Network Connections
  5.         -> Prohibit TCP/IP advanced configuration
would be a good shot (at least, that's the best one I found on the Vista system I checked with). But again, as an administrator, this user will be able to undo your changes, if he knows what he's doing.

Greetings,
