I hope I'm posting in the right forum.

When you go to the desktop (in Windows 7) the gadgets - as it's practically a separate application - get hidden and you have to open some window and then minimize it again to see them.
However, the standard Microsoft gadgets do stay visible even after the "show desktop" action.
Has anyone have idea how it's done there? I've tried to look through the code of it but no luck :(

Thanks in advance ;)

Although gadgets do use JavaScript, I think this question is more suited to the Windows forum. The problem you're facing may be by design, but there may be a workaround, for which I leave you in the safe hands of the Windows experts. Good luck!
