Runtime error?

My friend keeps getting a runtime error when he tries to play this game. It freezes his entire comp and he has to shut it down.

He has Windows XP...1gb ram.

Please help T_T

Also, Here is Microsoft's KB documentation about the R6025 error (although I think that it is of no use in your case).

Checking with Google I'm mostly finding suggestions to make sure that the maplestory directory and all files contained in it are write accessible.
