i can not download xp sp 3 on my computer because i get this message,..c;\windows\system32\cmd.exe is open or used by another application, and do not know the reason and cause of all this, can you help please?

Try closing cmd.exe by opening the task manager (Crtl+Alt+Del), finding it in the list and killing it with "End Process" or whatever the button at the bottom is called. Then try updating again.

If that doesn't work (for example, because cmd.exe isn't in the list), try shutting down some other programs that are running from there, that you think might be using cmd.exe.

NOTE: When you do this, you should disconnect from any network, as you may shut down part of your systems protection.
