No problems......I will vomit out (now) what I mean. Although I had mentioned previously my thoughts in my last reply but I now get it that it was put rubbishly on my part. Let me explain it now differently (and in detail):)
Microsoft has a neat little way to prevent software piracy of their Windows operating system i.e.
Winodws Product Activation. If your Windows installation is not activated, then you cannot use Windows. Windows refuses to let you login anymore (theoretically). You cannot access your files (theoretically). You cannot use the Internet (theoretically). You cannot do anything (theoretically). Well, that is all that theory says :)
But some bad guys actually found a way to use Windows even when it is not activated (more information
here). And as you can read in the link, although a user with UNactivated windows PC can access most of files.........still there are some files (better said "programs") which cannot be accessed (e.g. explorer.exe). This quote from link I have posted:
Quote:
On a side note, certain programs cannot be opened while Windows is still not activated. You will also not have a Task Bar at the bottom of your screen, as trying to open it will just result in it shutting itself down a few moments later
[Now if I am not blind :) ] OP in his original post had said that on some
web URL (webpage) he found a way to
"manage to access his/her computer". And then as stated in the link I posted, he tried to run explorer.exe which refused to load as his PC is still unactivated. And the OP is trying to bypass the restriction imposed by MS which is against bytes posting guidelines. And so I had warned OP in my previous reply :))
Now if you read back my previous (badly written) reply, you will understand what I mean.........
I also accept that I might had misinterpreted original question. And so, if you think that I am wrong, then PLEASE feel free to edit relevant portions of my REPLY #3.
Thanks.........
