I find it a lot simpler to just go to
Start > Control Panel > Printer and Faxes > "Left top corner" "Add Printer"
Click the cool "Next"
Answer the WIZARDS question is it LOCAL?? or A Network Printer?
And so on...
Now why get anymore fancier?
