Changing windows default language for Windows XP

In a previous post Lille asked for help in changing the Microsoft Windows XP Home edition from German to english. She was given the site as the above title. This is exactly my problem as well and was unsuccessful in changing language. Please help. I little "ol' lady". Thanks Mimi31

Have you looked in Start->Settings->Control Panel->Regional and Language Options ?

like i said, update the IME... the keyboard changes... but you can never make your windows entirely german...

that's why they sell them in that language too i guess...
