permission denied error during installation

dear,
i have created a vb project with usage of msflexgrid , dtpicker and some other basic controls in vb 6.0 with access database version 2.0 under windows viista. i have success fully completed creating the exe file and creating the package . now i cant able to install it as a software into another system either xp or vista. "permission denied , unexpected setup error occured " we got this error so many times . i dont know what is the mistakes i have done and how to install it as a software please, please ,please help geniusesss!

Are you using an evaluation version? I would research Microsoft to see what it could be. If you are using a full blown paid version, just contact their tech support, you may need the license key. My boss had a similar issue and that fixed hers;-) Hope that's it...

You can use the PDW to create an install package (which is a bit more than out of date) or as so many suggest you can use Inno or windows installer 1.1. Any which way you may need to run the setup.exe or .msi as admin.
