Hay all,

Try not to laugh to loud at my attempt of vb, hehe, im totally newbie at this stuff but trying all the same I have a rough idea what im doing but im stuck on a cmd button I want it to when clicked filter for certain criteria in this example its the Epson Pro 9800..

Basics : I have a database full of products for our main printers and plotters at work and would like to be able to filter via seperate buttons:

so I will have Epson, lexmark, HP Plotter buttons on form.. the form will show all but once a button has been clicked it filters that printers products..

DoCmd.ApplyFilter , [Printer / Plotter], ["Epson Pro 9800"]

It's a good question Salochin, and I am not laughing. Can you go into it a little more, what do you mean by filter?

Are you trying to use each button on VB form to print to specific printer/plotter when pressed?

Hope you ind what you're looking or!

Hi

no im trying to have three buttons that when pressed show in a dropdown box only items beloning to the printer,

so say button Xerox Printer once clicked will populate a drop down with only inks for that printer or paper that can be used etc..
