hi.i am doing a project how to send a sms to activate a device to open or close. from what i know i need a GSM modem. my question is if i send a sms <yes> from my handphone how is the laptop going to read my sms <yes>. i think this is done by programming and i have a vb6 is it able to do it in vb6

hope my question is clear enough to understand
