vbsendmail won't send - no error messages!!!

Hi all.

I have 2 applications, one MS-Access and one MS-Excel, that have VB code/macros that use vbsendmail to send out emails directly via our SMTP mail server(s). Both applications had been working perfectly for 12 months.

Recently, the applications still "appear" to run perfectly.....but no emails are being sent! No errors are being reported.

The applications were being used on 4 Win2000 PCs on our network. 3 PCs stopped working about 2 months ago, the 4th one stopped last week. I suspect it's something "environmental".

Any clues?

Hi there.

Could you please put your vb code so we can try to help you? Btw did you install new applications in these computers? Did you try to look at the log of Win2000? In your email server, can you look at some kind of log? Does your SMTP server needs authentication? If so, is there a chance of somebody change the password you used to use?

As you can see there is a lot of possibilities, without more information will be not easy to help you.
