How to use the Data Report in Visual Basic? Please Help me..

I am a newbie to this site.. Would you help me to know on how to use the Data Report in Visual Basic 6.0 properly? I have my thesis, that's why I need to learn the process on how to use it.

follow these simple steps

1.add a data report to the project.
2.add a data environment to the project.
3.add connection to data environment.
4.add command to connection
5.select table name or write the SQL.
6.drag and drop the fields on the data report.
7.set the properties of the report.
8.show the report.
