Set background picture for form

Hi...Im a 12th grade student..and i needed help in my VB project
I actually wanted to know how to set a picture as a background of a form ? ....
Any help would me appreciated !

Just open form properties and select picture in Picture.

If you could also help me in this bit...
We have to make this project which is like a telephone management system...as in...make a table with oracle and then connect it to VB...
we have to select the first letter of the name ...for e.g. "a" ....then all the entires which start with the alphabet "a" have to be displayed....
I'm not sure if i've put across the doubt very clearly ! .......
