If you need to repartition your drive AFTER you have installed your operating system, then you need to use something like
gparted. Its a sweet, open source tool for just that sort of thing. But, beware, if things go wrong, you may find yourself re-installing your OS. This is a risk you take with any and all software for this purpose.
