I am trying to connect to my work network, which runs Fedora and uses IPcop as a firewall and VPN, from my home computer, which runs Vista. Has anyone been successful in setting up this type of VPN previously?

I haven't tried, but are you having problems doing this? If so, what sort of problems? I'm sure it's possible.

re: IPcop VPN with Vista

I haven't tried setting up a VPN with a vista computer, but I have successfully set up IPcop to VPN for windows XP computers. It seems that there a couple of "gotcha's" when working with Windows computers.

I have posted a "how to" on My Blog.

In particular, I had to add a specific rule in the /etc/rc.d/rc.firewall.local startup file in order to gain access through the VPN for windows PC's

Hope this helps!
