hey im new user to linux i want to connect brodband internet to my comp can ne one plz help me to do so. mine is not the local lan connection .

do the following sequenciall
start,systemtools,click "internet configuration wizard
enter adminstrators password
chose "xdsl connection " as your device type"
click forward and in the box"configure dsl connection" choose your ethernet devoce
enter the isp provider's name
enter login name and password provided by isp
click forward and select pppo of "isp" and click activate
after activation brown as usual

this works in redhat linux9

Hi there,

Which Linux distro are you working on currently? Issue the <adsl-setup> command from the shell and follow onscreen step-by-step instructions, hope it helps. Good luck & Take care.
