I use cygwin in windows xp,

i ask the question in linux subforum is because cygwin is a linux-environment simulator in windows, so basically command are the same as linux-OS.

I install the web server apache and i try to start web server, it give me this error message:

Nick@ACER-Nick ~CSC2222/bin
$ ./httpd start
Starting Apache web server: ./apache: ./apache: cannot execute binary file

what is wrong and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,

Please do not make duplicate post, i noticed that you have already asked the same question in Apache forum section. Take care.
