Job disappeared from Enterprise Manager

A job scheduled weekly to run a stored procedure hadn't run for two weeks.
So I investigated and the job can no longer be seen under
Management -- SQL Server Agent.
The stored procedure inserts data into a table and this had not happened.

Has anybody experienced a vanishing job?
