I'm running SQL Server 2008 Developer on Vista Ultimate. I've been a
big fan of BitDefender for the last couple of years now, but with the
release of SQL 2008 I'm running in to all kinds of problems. I would
really appreciate an educated recommendation on what AV would best be
suited for SQL Server.

Thanks

I don't know what problems you have with BitDefender, nor am I
familiar with that product. However, you should make sure that
database files, mdf, ldf and ndf files are exempted from virus scan,
as well as backup files.
