Hi

How is SQL Server 2000 better than MySQL? I need to convince my boss as we
are contemplating doing a website with either SQL Server 2000 or MySQL as
backend.

Thanks

Well, for one thing, SQL Server 2005 is the latest...

But: given that you wrote absolutely NOTHING about your requirements,
how are we to define "better"?

Martijn, has made the most important point. In order to choose the
best database for your needs you need to look at what specific
activities your application requires, the expected user loads that the
application will need to support, and how these requirements can be
handled by the database products in question.

Part of the answer might depend on what tool sets you want to use for
the front-end.

Careful, as far as I can tell, both of those comparisions are out of date.
