Project idea for software engineering!

I am working on my bachelor's degree in computer science and need a project proposal for software engineering. It needs to be something that can be done in a short amount of time, specially 2 months. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I think you should build college management system. It is easy and it can be done in short time. It is my own thought. And it is up to you what you want to do.

I have said you to build College Management System.

In this system, you should have to provide essential features related to the college.

You should include following forms in this:

Home
Sports/Extra Activities
Gallery
Materials
Assignments
Important Dates
Student Registration
Fees
Student Details
Faculty Registration
Faculty Details
Payments
Exams/Tests
Result/Marks
etc...

If you want to create a website of this project, then you can use ASP.NET and if you want to create software, then you can use both ASP.NET & VB.NET.

You can also use the PHP or JAVA Script for developing the application
