What captcha script(s) do you like?

I'm looking at the results of searching for "captcha" and "php" -
there's a couple hundred of hits that seem to be uniquish...

Before I start flogging them, I thought I'd ask the good folks here
which one(s) you prefer... and if you disagree with another's choice,
why?

hi Joel, i like this script
http://6tx.net/sc/form.php
because is really easy to the user to "click" the captcha instead of
try to guess the "captcha" text.
but if you want a classic captcha i used to work with this script
http://rodomontano.altervista.org/engcaptcha.php , you should
configure the effect of the text because by default is really
complicated to read it, also, this script gives you the option to show
a simple arithmetic operation instead of text.

I second that: recaptcha is good and also works for the visual impaired
visitors without any extra work from your side.

I never use captcha theyare annoying to users and drive them away
as hiding the real problem and inventing new ones. I use a DSVE
which properly configured does the job invisibly and provides
information and control thats usefulelsewhere

my browser (FF3).

i think you're right, i'd always tried to make the user experience as
simple as possible. It's nice to know new security methods that
doesn't annoy the user
