integrating skype on my website

Hi everyone,

Can any body please tell me how to integrate skype on my website.

1. Register with Skype while they register with mysite

2. Skype registration details like profile, telephone no, online status etc. will be displayed

3 Skype should be integrated into the web site.

4 Users can register into skype through this website.

5 This is an affiliate / partner website

I have been searching for quite sometime now but did not find anything helpful.

Unless Skype provides an application* to do this, I doubt you're going to be able to accomplish this. Not with any ease, at least.

*Much like how facebook provides a developers api

Please check Skype APIs for this. But to the best of my knowledge there is no way to create Skype accounts from external applications. if there is a way please update it to me also :D.

Thanks for your replies.
I think getting user registered through my website is not possible or may be possible but with not an ease like u said "markusn00b" :(

I just been able to find scripts which can allow user to call skype from your site but only if he is registered with skype already.
but to get registered and showing profile and stuff eeewwwwwwwwwww is going to be one hell of a task :(


anybody else have an idea about this please let me know.
