I work for MP3tunes.com and wanted to tell you about a programming
contest that we are having. There are 10 categories and each one is
worth $1,000 USD (for a total of $10,000 USD).

So it might be a teensy fun project for starters. People asking to 'how to
start my carreer as a PHP developer' may apply, people actually started
will most certainly have way better things to do. Contests seem to be some
new way to get cheap code nowadays.

Allthough I really mean the stuff about it being something good for a
starting developer: if you win, you get free publicity, if you lose, at
least you probably learned something.

It's just like freelancers. Being in that market, I've seen thousands
of projects at extremely low prices and being completed in a
significantly short time (Where have you ever seen a complete online
photo editing (not like photoshop, but with significant features) for
$1000 and in less than a month???).
