I am using Quanta to do web development using PHP. I like it's upload
feature. However, when I upload a file, it doesn't overwrite the old
file, and it doesn't produce any error. It works fine if the file
doesn't exist.

No, it wasn't "bad". But this is a PHP group, for questions on how to
program in PHP.

When you're dealing with a product, you should always investigate that
product's support first. In most places it's where you will get the
best answers.
