modal dialog in Firefox

Hi there....
Thanx for ur valuable time... :)
I have done an application which works fine in Internet explorer.I have used a number of modal windows.i want it to work fine in Firefox also.Were able to enable this modal window but not with all the properties....
Can u help me.
I have used some coding s which involve layers and div tags which are not functional in firefox.
