Hello friends,

I need some help for link redirect. I am currently working with a b2b
site. I had define some rules in htaccess but due to auto append of
PHPSessionID at the end of link I could not do it properly so can any
one help me how to avoid that auto appand on phpsessionid at the end of
link.

for example I have a link like:

http://www.xyz.com/test.html

But it will create:
http://www.xyz.com/test.html?PHPSESS...08f97d004ddc1a

So I need to remove tht PHPSESSID from above link I need link as i
supplied,.

So Please help me to came out from this problem.

With Regards,
Mitul Patel.

Hi Mitul,

I think you better find out WHY that is appended. :-)
PHP will propagate the PHPSESSID via url-rewriting if it cannot set a
cookie.
So don't remove it, or you will loose the session.

You can modify this behaviour in php.ini globally or on a per-script basis
with ini_set().

the following runtime configuration options might be of interest for you:
use_cookies
use_only_cookies
url_rewriter.tags

Read more here:

Mitul,

You can still redirect with .htaccess, even though a session id is
appended. Try asking for help in an Apache newsgroup such as
alt.apache.configuration.
