Can anyone offer a suggestion for a good book on Object Oriented PHP
and all the newer features of PHP5? I learned php using "PHP and MySQL
Web Development" by Luke Welling and Laura Thomson and found it to be
one of the best books on the market. IMO. Id like something in a
similar vein but it seems like those authors don't offer one geared
toward PHP5 and the new edition of the book only glances at it.

Any thoughts?

I have that book as well and agree that it's quite excellent.

I'd check over at bookpool.com, which is my favorite online technical
resource.

PHP 5 Objects, Patterns, and Practice by Matt Zandstra
ISBN: 1590593804

I am still going through it myself (no time for reading as of late), but
what I've read so far is great.
