Will Oracle ver 7.3 run on windows 2003 server ?

Microsoft has updated a lot of the DLLs, and I would expect that Oracle's
dependancy on the original DLLs may cause a conflict.

Why would you want to run Oracle 7.3 on Windows 2003? (Since you are in
unsupported territory, why would you not leave everything the way it
is known to work?)

re: 7.3 on 03 server


client wanted 03 server for improved 'terminal services' features, however,
main application is currently in 7.3 database, all in same box. cost of 9i
is a bunch.

guess it always comes down to money.
