I set up a network at my work last week and we have been having some problems that I have not ben able to fix. We have:

2 New computers running Windows XP
2 New Computers running Windows Vista Home Premium
and 2 old Computers that are both running Windows XP and were the only two computers before and were networked.

We replaced an old router to a larger router with VPN capabilities. Everything went fine for the setup with the normal glitches here and there. I have downloaded the LLTD for the XP machines. I also have the network discovery on.

On the new vista machines I can see the other vista machine but not the XP's most of the time. Some times I get on and the other machines are there! I can however see them on the View map all the time.

On the new XP machines I have not had any problems so far (yeah just wait till tomorow).

On the old XP#1 machine I can see the machine from the other XP's but not access it. I need this machine due to the only printer being connected to this machine.

The other Xp#2 machine has a database that all need to be able to access and this has been no problem even when I cant see this machine from the other machines, except one time today. We reset the router and have not had this issue again.

* I have to be able to access XP#1 with all for the printer
* I have to be able to access XP#2 with all for the database
* The Vista machines need to be able to see the XP machines.

I am at my wits end with this and it is starting to effect business. Please help.
