Hey, could anyone tell me if a cable modem can run through a dsl router modem to connect to the net?

The answer is no

Cable modem runs through coaxial lines while DSL through telephone lines such as CAT3 and CAT5/CAT6

You can try plugging the cable modem WAN into the DSL Router but I doubt it will work, just buy yourself a regular router.

Cable blows DSL away, much faster.

I don't think this can be done. A DSL Router better known as an ADSL Modem is used to connect to the net through the phone-line and a cable Modem through the Cable system. If you got the cable Modem connected, the DSL router probably would kill the connection since its looking for data on the phone line. As far as I know DSL routers can split the connection to multiple computers but it can't act as a hub/switch in the sense that it can't be used simply to split the internet from another source (cable Modem).
