I am using 2 desktops (win2000home) for which I tried to creat a home office network.(via router)
When attemtpting to view work group computers ( and ultimately share all files, folders and printer) I recieve the following message:
You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
When I issue NET VIEW command from the MS-DOS prompt, the following error message appears:
Error 6118
However my workgroup name is the same as my domain name.
I have searched for my SYSTEM.INI file in the network directory (usually C:\NET) but I dont have it on my computer.
Please can someone advise me, I am running out of things I ideas here...
