Update Properities of Recycle Bin Programmatically

Dear Sir,

I try to enable "Do not move files to the Recycle Bin" by adding a vlue
"NukeOnDelete" to 1 under registry key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Cur rentVersion\Explorer\BitBucket\{disk
letter}\", But I find the modification doesn't take effect right away, till
I open and then close the properties of Recycle Bin manually. I guess that
manually open and then close the properties will trigger the systemto update
properties from registry. Is there any way or API can be used to force
Recycle Bin properties update? Thank you very much~
