Query on search date

As in my Web application i am searching for dates,it is only searching for day and the month not for the year.Can anyone tell where i m going wrong?

Its not giving any error but while searching its not filtering the year part.

you need to explain me wat exactly you are doin .... posting n explaining your sample code helps...
