I recently deleted all of my email accounts (accidentily) under my domain. I
recreated them this morning and configured them through outlook. I am
sending email fine (I use a different server for outbound mail), however I am
not able to receive any messages. No errors come up. I believe I have
everything configured correctly (I have checked 1000 times). I tried
disabling Norton to receive emails but that did nothing. I am able to check
my email through my web mail, just not OE. I am using OE6 (my OS is XP).
Please help!!

re: not receiving email in OE

Symptoms would suggest that the server settings in OE are incorrect or
the accounts are not set to "check this account when sending/ relieving
mail"

best thing i can suggest is to go to your web mail providers site and
see if they have a help page for setting up OE6 if you are lucky they
may even have a remote setup link which will set everything for you.

Quite often an error we make ourselves will not register when we are
checking ourselves so if you still have problems post back with details
of your provider and the server settings you have entered and I'm sure
someone here will be able to help.

re: not receiving email in OE

Ugh, you were right about not seeing my own error! My server does have a
link to set up mail in OE, I was manually configuring it because their set up
would configure under a different identity. I copied the settings from the
wrong identity and plopped them into the right one and now it is working.
Thank you very much for your suggestion. It was driving me nuts all day and
was a simple enough resolution :)
