Hi all,
I've read about web services, xml rpc, soap, wsdl, uddi etc etc and I even
have access to a company with some 6-7 web services that are running
automated with some kind of biztalk channels. I just don't know where to
start! This is where all you come in.
I have a background as C/C++/C#/Java programmer and Computer Science degree
but still no hands-on experience with XML Web Services.
I'd prefer to read online articles, but books are also interesting. Most
preferrably I would like to get head-start and perhaps even play around with
existing web services online. Can someone please point me to such resources
that will grow my knowledge and make it easier for me to understand how the
system is structured at this company I work for at the moment.
In short: How can I learn, play around with, test, debug, snoop existing web
services and even develop new ones. It would be very good to be able to "step
through" existing web services, have I got the source code. I don't only want
theory but practical guides with good solid design and explanations.
Am I too demanding or can you provide me with such resources?
Thanks,
