Read/Write on USB Port using C#

I want to read/write on USB port using C# with out using any third party software means directly using .NET 2005. Is that any way to do so??
Any input will be appreciated!!

Hi,

You can use

My.Computer.Ports

For reading and writing in serial Ports.

See the below link , it is in VB 2005 you can convert it to C #.

You will need to create a System.IO.Ports.SerialPort. I don't know much more than that.

Hello

i can give you idea and as well as sample code for serialcommunication using rs232 but no particular idea of using USB ports ,

more over what type of data you are going to read or write ,and what type of device you are going to connect.
