Configuration Error in 2005

Dear Members,

I got this foolowing Error while i am Excutiong my Application
"It is an error to use a section registered as allowDefinition='MachineToApplication' beyond application level. This error can be caused by a virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS."

and show the foolowing line in red color
<roleManager enabled="True"/>
