mc++ component used from plain old asp, returning strings

I've got a Managed C++ component, which I'm using from an ASP-script. This
in it self is no problem, but I've had some trouble transporting / returning
strings to the ASP-script. I'll have to admit my attempts to do so are
limited, but I figure I'm more likely to find the answer here, than through
my own stumbling. So; can it be done? And if so, how?
