show / hide a div moving it out of the window with mouseover

Hi, Im starting in web design, most of my knowledge comes from divs and CSS so I'm not so familiar with javascript, I need help to make this effect on a website, its a facebook button that shows the details on mouse over:

I know how to make the static div on the web, I just need help how to show or hide the div on mouse over, thank you very much in advance.

Visibility wont have the same effect as that, I think I tried it sometime before, thank you for the answers thou.

Im not looking for the exact code, but at least someone who knows how to move the div like that on mouseover and move it to its original position on mouseout.
