Is there a way to modify the font in the alert & prompts windows?

Not from JavaScript (unless perhaps you use JavaScript to access an ActiveX
control and modify the users Windows font preferences*)

* Of course ActiveX isn't going to let you change preferences on non-Windows
systems.
