I'm looking for a script in javascript that simulates the snow effect on
my web site. I've searched in google but scripts I found use applets or
move images on the screen. I had a javascript with a little code that
simulates snow falling drawing directly (using points) the snow in the
entire page (not only in a image), but I lost it. Anyone who can tell me
where can I find it?

re: snow effect

If you will go to www.dynamicdrive.com you will find a snow script at
http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex3/snow.htm that uses small
images of snowflakes and works for many browsers. Also there is
another script at dynamic drive that gives either a snow or rain
effect without images for IE only.. The first version probably could
be easily modified to use the "*" in large font size for snow flakes
rather than an image to better meet your stated preferences. I saw
something of this sort of modification last year, but I do not recall
where.
