In addition to previous question, if opening an Excel file in NON-read-only mode, would the macros on the worksheets work as well?

In addition to the previous questions, I wonder, if opening an Excel
file in NON-read-only mode, would the macros on the worksheets work as
well?

Thanks millions!

I don't know the previous question, but yes, macros will run in update mode.

whether the workbook is opened readonly or not has no bearing the macros
working. If you have security set high enough, you will either be prompted,
given the option to disable macros, or they will be disabled automatically.
If macros are not disabled, then you can run them.
