Loading 8 images in order with a short delay

Greetings

I am trying to create an Index page in Serif Webplus10. Regretfully the application doesn't have that feature I need.

I would like to load 4/8 images ( picture + caption) in order with a 2 sec pause between each load. Each image will be placed at different locations so I also need to specify the X Y details.

I don't want the overhead of using Flash and found examples of doing this with javascript but can't quite get my head around this. Can anyone copy me a piece of code plus where to paste it ( i.e. in head and body)

Javascript must be used in order to do this because just html alone can not do what you want.
We do not provide the answers here we just help get you there, please attempt it yourself and post the parts of the code you are having trouble with.
