"Cannot add duplicate collection entry" this error is coming when i go for browsing my website for which i have created virtual directory on my vista pc what are the settings to perfectly activevate the virtual directory settings in vista

You have a duplicate collection entry in a config, possibly applicationHost.config. If this the case, you can open %windir%\system32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.c onfig and either remove <add path="*"> element or put a <remove path="*"/> before it.
