Search Engine in Intranet Web Page - Return Links to PDF

The default Search Web Page Template in Front Page returns links for htm or
html documents in my web. What I need to do is return pdf's and Word Docs.
How can I accomplish that?

I am hosted on a Windows IIS web server and the Index Server is installed
with the PDF add-in form for Adobe. What are my next steps?

One way to do this is with MS indexing services. Performance hints delete system and tune performance. HTH.
