OK, I validated the HTML and CSS, but I'm still having one of the
troubles I had before:
Site in question:
http://www.chancesend.com/test/info.html
(I am aware that none of the top navigation links work. I am also aware
that the Mailing List portion does not work. I just haven't gotten
around to uploading everything)
My page uses some DHTML in order to scroll the content in the main panel
(click on "Biography..." to load content). This works fine in IE5, but
in NN7 scroll bars exist even when the page is seemingly fully-expanded.
I know the scroll bars are related to the large amount of content in the
"Biography" subsection, but is there any way to tell NN7 to not use the
scroll bars unless actually needed (ie - to basically "ignore" the
hidden scrolling content)? I believe this is also causing the extremely
slow scroll time in NN7 (because Netscape is recalculating the "length"
of the page?).
Thanks for any help someone may be able to give.
BTW: Thanks to Brian for guiding me towards how to change the spacing
between headers. I was originally only messing with margin-bottom, which
affected NN7, but I forgot to set margin-top: 0em, which made IE behave
correctly.
