Tim Bray recently discussed the TAG document [1] at his weblog [2]. I am a
little confused after reading section 2.3, "URI Authority" [3]. Does the
text mean that:
1) A URI's meaning is defined by it's owner.
2) The URI's owner is defined by the owner of the URI's Authority.
3) The owner of the authority of an URI is delegated by another entity
defined by the URI scheme.
Where, given an URI, "http://www.example.com/example/uri.xml":
1) The URI scheme is "http".
2) The URI authority is "www.example.com".
3) The owner of that authority is delegated by another entity specified in
the "http" specification.
4) The owner of the URI is delegated by the owner of "www.example.com".
Right?
